Beauty In Confinement
Agoraphobia is an anxiety disorder suffered by 1.5 million people in the UK. Those who suffer from it avoid places or situations that might cause panic, feelings of being trapped or embarrassment. This fear can be so overwhelming that those who endure it can’t leave their homes.
In 2020, the population was trapped inside their homes during the pandemic, and though the quarantine is over, I still find myself trapped in my own space. I've dealt with Agoraphobia for a long time and tried many different ways to cope with it. These images are a documentation of my reality through exposure therapy and focusing on the smaller details to avoid being overwhelmed.
