‘For the love of it’ is an exploration of two extreme opposites of car enthusiasts from the world of classic and high-end cars and the care that goes into maintaining them for future generations, to banger racing, where the care is the same but focuses more on the car's resilience and ability to get back out there.

In this collection of images, I have documented cars as an art form and presented them through the lens of abstract imagery, focusing on the beauty of the form and design of the car without the mechanics and functions and the beauty in the destruction and the care that holds the cars together.

In an attempt to portray the passion that has been put into the design and preservation of cars for decades, to those who might overlook it as just another part of daily life and the energy and life that has been poured back into scrapped cars to make them race again.
